Providing advice to Chancery Place Sarl, we acted in the acquisition of this development site. We then went on to work with the client and their team to improve the design and increase the existing planning consent.
This was to enable the development of this striking Grade A office building CBD covering 110,000 square feet in 15 storeys
Following the site acquisition we provided advice for its development funding and forward sale prior to construction. This saw the building leased to tenants including Clyde & Co, HSB Insurance, Clearwater Finance, Travellers Insurance and QBE.
Subsequent to the leasing of the building, advice was then provided in its onward sale to NFU Mutual for a price of £57 million, reflecting an NIY of 5.05%.
