Stephen began his career working for Clive Lewis & Partners in London before joining Tushingham Moore where he stayed for 23 years before Co-founding Metis.
With over 30 years’ experience in retail property, Stephen is amongst the most experienced advisors in this sector.
He believes in an approach based on building an encyclopaedic knowledge of the assets he works on over an extended period of time and this is demonstrated by involvement in Manchester Arndale for over 25 years and in Liverpool ONE for over 16 years.
He has advised landlords on over 25 different Shopping Centres throughout his career including a number of new developments where he has been involved through from design, to site assembly and on to leasing and ongoing asset management.
Stephen has also given a number of retailers advise on store acquisitions, giving him a detailed understanding of both sides of the lease negotiation.
Key clients include M&G, Global Mutual and Grosvenor and areas of specialism include strategic development and leasing advice on major retail developments, including Liverpool ONE and Manchester Arndale.
